Coach Frank

 

Frank Medina holds NSCAA National and National High School diplomas.  He began coaching at an early age and was fortunate to have been mentored by some of the finest youth coaches in the country.  He has helped coach club teams to State, Regional and National Championships.  Many of his former players have continued to play at a high level from NCAA Division 1 Soccer through the U.S. Women’s National Team. 

 

As the Boys Varsity High School Head Coach at Prospect High School, he has also coached teams to League Championships as well as a Central Coast Section Championship.  He has twice been voted BVAL Division Coach of the year, and in 2009 he was named San Jose Mercury News CCS Coach of the Year.  Frank also has extensive experience coaching technical and fitness sessions for individual youth players and teams.  He does this all with a passion for the game and a belief that the more comfortable a player becomes on the ball, the more he or she will understand and ultimately love the beautiful game.

 

Frank also holds a B.A. from Cal State, Chico, an M.F.A. from Southern Methodist University, and a California Teaching Credential.
