Our Outreach Program

The HLSF serves a full sprectrum of youth in the Bay Area, including low-income underprilvileged and trouble kids of all ages who otherwise would not have the chance to realize their full potential. While Northern California is one of the richest area in the world, there remains an enclave of economic deprivation and social depression. Public spending for community oriented activities continue to decline, affecting such programs as schools, libraries, sports and parks. Young people are hit by this the hardest: disillusioned, alienated, and vulnerable to the influence of drugs, crimes, violence, and the gangs which continues to lure them down the wrong path in life.

HLSF is dedicated to providing all of our youth with learning alternatives, positive role models, and most important the self esteem they need to grow into productive well adjusted adults. The team work, camaraderie, pride and accomplishment experienced, playing soccer are essential to the healthy growth of our future leaders.

The High Level Sports Foundation is a Government approved nonprofit tax deductible organization, under section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue code.

We are committed to improving the lives of our young people, by providing opportunities and encouragement through sports, especially soccer, the world most popular sport. In a time of growing tension and hardship, sports offers a healthy outlook for kids, as well as exercise and good clean fun. Soccer provides a meaningful link with the rest of the world.

Activities

The HLSF serves five primary functions which directly address the established commitment.

Sports Programs: For youth to develop into an affirmative contributory citizens through recreational and competitive athletic participation (assemblies, soccer clinics, camps and tournaments)
Outreach Scholarship Programs: that will raise funds to cover League registration fees, travel expenses (District, State, Regional and National select teams), and equipment cost for qualifying youth who are underprivileged, low-income, or from single parent families.
Free Soccer Clinics: Setting up free soccer clinics to get kids especially the low-income kids off the street, and into a positive environment to provide them lifetime opportunities that would not be otherwise available. Furthermore, the low-income and underprivileged youth, will have the opportunities to attend college on athletic scholarship.
College Placement: With our vast network, connections and partnership with many universities and colleges we will offer free negotiation with scouts, recruiters, and coaches to local deserving players.
All-Star Programs: we will assist athletes to get a chance to perform in front of college coaches.

The HLSF seeks to mobilize corporate philanthropic and community resources to support our mandate. In order to reach our goals, broad participation will be required therefore, the HLSF offers membership programs that encourages corporate and individual participation.
